March 30th, 2008

Civil Constructors, Inc. was awarded a $27,206,528.30 contract for the construction of U.S. 64 (S.R. 15) in Lincoln & Franklin Counties by the Tennessee Department of Transportation in the December 7, 2007 letting. This contract consists of the grading, drainage, paving and construction of (3) concrete box bridges on U.S. 64 beginning 0.193 miles east of S.R. 275 in Lincoln County and extending to the Lincoln/Franklin County line.

This project will complete U.S.64’s widening through Lincoln County by tying together a phase currently under construction traveling east out of Fayetteville and a recently completed phase beginning at the Lincoln/Franklin County line. The project is 6.278 miles long and is scheduled to take approximately 2.5 years to complete. Currently we are organizing our forces to begin construction in mid February.
